Before Your First Lesson

We are so excited to share our passion, experience, and love of the water with your family.

Prior to your first day, there are a few things we wanted to go over to make sure you have the best possible experience. Please read below:

Locations: We have two locations (Country Club of Sarasota and HealthFit), please make sure you are clear as to which location you are signed up for.

HealthFit - 5880 Rand Blvd #102, Sarasota, FL 34238
- Park anywhere in the parking lot, go through the main entrance. The entrance to HealthFit will be on the right. Check in at the front desk, and go down the hallway. The pool entrance is on the right at the end of the hallway. Please sign in on the clipboard at the front desk for liability reasons.
Sarasota Sports Club (in Country Club of Sarasota), 3600 Torrey Pines Blvd. Sarasota, FL 34238
- Drive up to the guard gate (left side) and tell the security guard your student's name, and that you are here for swim lessons. Take your first right and you will see a clubhouse and a large parking lot on your left. Park anywhere in the lot and follow the path on the left side of the parking lot directly to the pool.

Billing: As a reminder, you have secured your lesson spot at the designated day and time each week. You will be billed for the month’s lessons on the 1st of each month.

Missed Lessons / Makeups: We allow one makeup per month. Makeup tokens are automatically generated upon absence from a class. Tokens may be redeemed in exchange for a makeup class via the Parent Portal. Tokens expire 30 days after issuance. We do not offer refunds for missed classes.

Classes with Only 1 Student: Occasionally, there might be a situation where there is only 1 student in a class. In this situation, the 30 minute class will turn into a 20 minute private lesson. You will still be billed your normal class rate, which is lower than the private lesson rate.

Swim Diapers: Swim diapers are required for children under age 3 AND all children that are not potty trained. We require a disposable or reusable diaper, plus a Happy Nappy Swim Diaper. This policy is extremely important and non negotiable.

We sell reusable Happy Nappy Swim Diapers at the pool for $14, as well as reusable Finis Swim Diapers for $10. You are also welcome to purchase them here on Amazon.

Goggles: We recommend goggles for kids over age 3. If your child does not have a pair of goggles, they are available for purchase on deck for $12.

Weather: We live in FL and unfortunately thunderstorms will strike. This being said, we will do our absolute best to notify you via text / e-mail of any cancellations due to weather with at least 30 minutes notice. If a class is cancelled due to lightning, we will issue makeup tokens that can be used toward another class, or you have the option to receive a credit toward your tuition.
